Back to Basics: Meet the Meesha Madhavan Puttu (Idiyirachiputtu) from "De Puttu", Kochi, Kerala

My visit to " De Puttu" the restaurant at Cochin: I must admit that it was a love at first sight...the ambiance was just awesome , even the roofing was designed in a such a way that the people dine will get the feel of the traditional " Tattukadas "...It was another stunner when i have seen the names of the dishes in the menu....The menu was truly a heaven of "Puttu"...As always i have searched for the spicy dishes in the menu....it was a tie between "Puttu Biriyani" and "Meesahmadhavan"....Finally Meesha got my mind...As its name resembles (like the Character of "Dileep" in the movie) it was spicy and hot...Its a verity of "Puttu" with a filler as "ideirachi"( scrambled meat)...I have always have the intuition to get the right mix....i have ordered "Beef Kaya cury" as combination....The combination was perfect...The preparation of the curry and the puttu made me a fan of the chef....the traditional combination of "Pappadam" completed the course.....It was one of the best lunch i ever had in my life..i must tell you traditional food habits are much better than our fast foods...I have finished my lunch with a vanilla scoop....Perfect...When i have made my payment and walked out my tummy and soul ..both were enlightened..."De Puttu" is a highly recommended restaurant for those who love to feel the taste....Guys go and make your taste buds happy....
